Campground Mundo Chalio
On the most
beautiful beach of the Mexican Caribbean you will find a quiet campsite.
In the "LOCATION" section, there is an exact route.
All spaces have:
Fresh water connection,
Electrical connection with 110 V and 30 amp sockets
Waste water connection.
The sanitary rooms with showers (cold) and toilets are only about 50 steps away. The fresh water is saline, so if possible, you should arrive here in Xpu Ha with full
fresh water tanks. A new well is being prepared, so
that there will be some changes in the supply of water.
To the white sandy beach there are only a few metres! The sea is warm always thus about 28° C. Swimming and snorkeling are a must in the Caribean sea!
And this camp ground is very central conveniently. Good possibilities for shopping, ruins, a diving school, experience worlds - everything very well accessible from this place.
The campers come from all parts of the world and represented all age classes. The atmosphere is very familiar. Many guests have been coming here for more than ten years.

It is also possible to store your RV outside of the campground on the parking lot, close to the apartments (on your own risk). Talk to Vera & Dierck.

Dogs:
In exceptional cases it is allowed to bring 1 (one) dog with you. A daily fee for each additional dog will be charged.
Costs per day: 10 Pesos
According to Mexican laws, dogs are NOT allowed on the beaches. The owner of the campsite, in exceptional cases, will allow bringing 1 (one) dog per camper. Outside the camp vehicle, the dog must be on leash all the time. Dog waste is to be collected and eliminated IMMEDIATELY.
Departure time / Quite hours
Please leave your site on the day of departure at latest until noon.
Quite hours are from 22pm till 7:00 am
Electricity
Electricity is extremely expensive in Mexico; the price of a kilowatt-hour is very high. Therefore, please reduce your electric power consumption to a minimum. The largest consumers of electricity in your campers are the air-conditioning, the refrigerator and the hot water heater. Please, close doors and windows while the air conditioning is on.
- Set air-conditioning NOT LOWER than 23° Celsius / 73 ° Fahrenheit!
- Set your refrigerator at moderate temperatures!
- Turn off hot water heating during nighttime.
Or let refrigerators and hot water heaters run on propane. In recent years, we have not increased the prices, even though the costs have risen continuously. So, please comply with our recommendation, so that you can continue to enjoy your stay with us on affordable prices.
Crime!
Crime exists everywhere in the world, so it does in Mexico and Xpu-Ha. If you leave your camper, always lock the doors and windows. If you are absent for an extended period, you should lock all doors, windows and roof hatches.
It certainly helps, if you turn on the radio or the TV in such case, so that it looks like somebody is in the car.
It's been a long time since Xpu Ha had an incident here (burglary theft), but you can be careful.
